2026 Agenda
Cambridge VIP’s 4th Annual
Battery Venture, Innovation & Partnering
Innovation that Matters & Emerging Investable Areas
March 23-24, 2026
The Venture, Innovation & Partnering Conference is a two-day event, held alongside the International Battery Seminar, bringing together CEOs, founders, investors, and senior executives from the battery manufacturing and OEM sectors. This year, we’ll explore the critical need for investment in innovation and technology that truly addresses customer needs, as well as uncover the current and emerging investable areas and battery business models ripe for disruption. The conference will offer a deep dive into the challenges of Series B funding, and we'll also examine what might be the most effective battery strategy for the West. Supply chain complexities and manufacturing scale-up will be key highlights. Expect engaging panel discussions, fireside chats, and plenty of opportunities for 1-on-1 and group networking. We’ll be tackling a wide range of exciting topics, and we can’t wait to see you there!
Coverage will include, but is not limited to:
- Focus on innovation that matters—solve the problem the customer needs
- Series B funding challenges, a pulse check for everyone
- What is the battery strategy for the West? —What has been learned in the recent past, and where are we heading in the next 5-10 years?
- New markets for battery are emerging—data centers and outdated grids creating a lot of opportunities and robust chemistries to accommodate these
- Supply chain—finding alternative technologies to build the domestic supply chain, materials from upstream to downstream, closed loop, and recycling
- Geopolitics and battery technology—tech partnerships, collaborations, and leveraging help
- Emerging technologies, Na-ion, fast charging for low temperatures, the role of BESS in datacenters and renewable energy, as well as nuclear
- Manufacturing scale-up
- How can startups benefit from a partnership with large companies—how to approach them, get in front of the right people, receive strategic investments, and accelerate growth
- Opportunities in battery recycling / reuse. Where to look for opportunities?
- Battery business models that are ripe for disruption
- Emerging investable areas related to batteries that are capital-light / platform-based
If you have a compelling story to share with innovators, investors, and executives attending this boutique event, we encourage you to submit a speaking proposal.
Please note that the vast majority of speakers are identified, selected, and invited by our summit chairs and advisory board members. As we receive a high volume of submissions, we regret that Cambridge VIP can only be in contact with those deemed optimal candidates.
